Kinect: One Million Sold in First Ten Days

Two weeks ago Microsoft released Kinect in the United States – the accessory for the Xbox 360 that allows you, the player, to be the controller. According to sales figures it seems to be a huge success. In the first ten days after launch, Microsoft sold all over 1 million copies of the gadget. The booming sales figure is despite of the fact that Europe did not get Kinect for six days after the North American launch.

Kinect has now been launched in the U.S., Europe and parts of South America. In the next few days Microsoft will launch Kinect in Australia and Japan.
