Optimus Popularis: A Slightly Less Exorbitant Luxury Keyboard

The Art Lebedev design studio made a name for itself with the Optimus Maximus keyboard, a model where each key has a tiny built-in display. The sequel, Optimus popularis, does not have a display for every key, but is instead based on a single underlying screen with transparent keys, which helps lower the price to slightly less extreme levels. Optimus Popularis is expected to appear in late 2010 or early 2011 with a price tag of less than $1,000.
